Definition: The Courageous Citizens Award (CCA) recognizes the exceptional bravery and commitment demonstrated by ordinary citizens in advancing the cause of democracy, justice, and equity in Nigeria. It celebrates individuals who have exhibited remarkable courage and sacrifice for the greater good of the nation, embodying the spirit of civic responsibility and activism.
1. Recognition of Extraordinary Courage:
The primary aim of the CCA is to acknowledge and honor the extraordinary acts of courage displayed by ordinary citizens in Nigeria. These individuals often risk their safety and well-being to uphold democratic principles and advocate for a better society.
These Awards, including the Citizens Order of Distinction and the Citizens Order of Freedom, honor individuals who champion equity, justice, and the collective well-being of all Citizenships.
